ShowCar Pix offers a free slice of today's car-show phenomena, where classic cars, street rods, and similar examples of fine machinery are placed on public display.
Our goal is to generate once again the feelings of excitement and pleasure real-time car shows evoke. The plan is to be there, at the show, once again. For that reason our photos favor a natural car-show setting and somewhat larger sizes than normal.
Photo layout includes four sizes of each photo, at 1000px, 1150px, 1300px, and 1500px, in wide-screen 16:9 format and close to the car for good detail.
The sample photos in the left sidebar expand out to those sizes, giving an idea of the best fit for your monitor. They were set up using a 25 inch HP2509m, which the 1500px size just about fills.
There's also a 500px size in the Gallery Menus, reached via the Car Show Photo Galleries link in the Main Menu, where you can scroll through quickly to see what's available in any given show.
While viewing full-size photos, click on the photo itself to get the next photo. To move to a different gallery, use the Galleries Menu you'll see in the top border. To change photo size, use the various size-links also located in the top border.
Incidentally, all of the photos on this page are from the Au Gres Cruisers show in Au Gres, MI, where Show Car Pics is located.
